LONDON, ONTARIO

Anne Hamilton was born in London and recently completed the Bealart Program. Anne is autistic and possesses exceptional food-and-date-specific memory and uses her art as a way to record these memories that are often insignificant. She has recently started working with vellum and markers, switching from oil paint as this medium better captures the luminosity of the bright colours she works with.

Like everyone on the spectrum Anne has a few special interests. For her it old movies and mixing drinks. This summer she has been exploring the connection of the two through her resin work, basing the colours of the resin cast from alcohol bottles off scenes or posters from these films. Anne has been a resident artist at TAP since 2018.
